Happy New Year!!!

Now that I have kids, New Year's Eve isn't as exciting as it used to be, but exciting in a different way. I loved counting down with the kids and toasting in the New Year in champagne glasses filled with apple cider and sprite! Here's to a wonderful 2013!

Baby M's Baptism

I had the pleasure of photographing Baby M's baptism.  A lot of the mom's family was from out of town, so she wanted to capture as many pics as she could with her siblings.  Dad has a pretty big family too, so I was pretty busy trying to get all the important shots in.  I had a blast and here's a preview of some pics, still need to sort through another 300!

 I had the pleasure of meeting this handsome boy for the first time!  According to mom, baby C is already rolling and trying to scoot at 3 months.  He's such a good baby!  He didn't like wearing clothes, but we were able to get a ton of great shots anyway with his cute little outfit, and mom & dad had to work hard to get him to smile.  Towards the end the little guy was just worn out and had to take a little nap!  Here's a few snapshots of this handsome boy!

Baby P!!!

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of this new mom to be.  She is absolutely beautiful and glowing.  Thanks C & J for letting me capture this special time in your lives!  This was one of my faves.  Love the smile on the mom to be's face!

Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

If you loved Twilight you will love this series!  It is a YA paranormal series with, romance and adventure.  I stumbled across this series a couple of years ago when the third book in the series came out, and that was suppose to be the last book.  Of course after I finish all three books in a week, I wanted more and I looked on the author's blog and was so excited to find out that she was gonna write 3 more books!!!  I'm not going to spoil it by telling you the whole story, because you can read the synopsis online, but I love how there are so many secrets that each book has unlocked.  Then to top it all off, the author writes a prequel to this series, The Clockwork series, that you have to read before book 4 & 5 of the Mortal Instruments series.  It's all connected somehow!


So if you are looking for some summer reading, this is a great series!  You will enjoy it.  It's even PG enough that your 15 year old can read.

Greyson is 2 Months Old!!!

Greyson is 2 months old!  Boy does he have a personality!  I remember Ryu didn't like taking pictures until he was 3 months old, so I'm hoping next month we"ll have a smiling baby.  But I loved the pictures I took of his many faces and it just shows his personality at this time.  They grow so fast, and at least his mom and dad can remember the time when their baby boy was 2 months old!  He has gotten so big & I love his rubber band arms!!!

Man, I wished I learned how to edit RAW images!  These pics would have been wonderful if not for the lighting and the shade I was getting from the sun.  I love natural light, but sometimes it just won't work for you, and that's when RAW files can make their magic.  That't next on my list, learning to edit in RAW.  So for now, I thought turning them black and white made it a little better, but I just wanted it perfect.

This is one of my favorites!  Great candid of mom and dad trying to comfort their baby boy.  After awhile all you can do is laugh and smile when it's not working and to just keep trying.  Poor guy, he just wanted to eat and sleep, and here's his Auntie Eliza with a camera in his face!

PJ has always loved his Vans, he even bought his godson, Ryu a pair, which he just loved.  So it was awesome that someone bought Greyson a pair of these checkered shoe socks!  Pretty soon he will be big enough for his first pair of Vans!

Hello everyone!  I have been MIA for so long.  I started blogging again to talk about books that I have read and now I would like to start posting the pics of all the beautiful babies that I have been lucky to photograph.  I wish it was so simple to post these pics, but I have to go through the extra step of re sizing them since blogger has a limit on the size of pictures, ( or so I have been told)!  Anyways enjoy these pics of the adorable subject matter!

Remember my earlier blog from January of baby Gomez?  Well Greyson Wolfe Gomez entered the world on St. Patrick's Day, which was also during our mini heat wave in March.  I have a one week and a one month pic.  How fast they grow!  Stay tune for later this week when I will be taking his 2 month picture!  I can't wait to see how big he has grown and from what I have been seeing in Facebook, he has some grown quite a bit and I am so excited to see him!

Next I have his cousin, Mason, who was born in January and here I have him with big sis, Taylor.  Aren't they just gorgeous?!?!

Last but not least, I have my babies with their new cousins.  I always have the hardest time photographing my own kids, so now that I am busy taking pics of other kids, now they want to take pictures!  Gosh they grow so fast!
