LegoLand

I was crazy enough to take the kids to LegoLand on President's Day.  I was lucky enough to have both my in laws, sister in law and niece accompany me.  You would think that would be enough people to keep a handle on the 3 kids, but even 3 people per child wouldn't be enough.  I am glad the kids had a great time, I probably would, too, if we didn't have to carry all our stuff around the place.  Maybe summer would be a greater time to go, but then again it would be crowded as well.  That will probably be the first and last time that we will go to LegoLand.  Disney World was so much easier than this!

Kira's First Day

Hello Baby Scarlett!

 My best friend had her baby girl on Feb.6th, just one day before Kira's.  It's going to be fun having our girl's birthdays close together!  I am so proud of her doing it all the "natural" way!  She is so brave to do that, cuz I am just a big "wuss" as Don would say for not "sucking up" the pain.  Kudos to you, Monica!  Just having the baby 6 days ago you could never tell she went thru such a feat!  She looks great!
Oh course I had to bring the camera and take some pictures of the new baby and the growing family.  Also, Happy Birthday to Rachel, Uncle Paul & Tita Vicky!  What a nice gift to have a new family member

09 passions & hobbies

These are my kids passions & hobbies, for now at least.  Ryu received more than enough lego star wars kits for christmas and his birthday.  He kept asking everyday to build a new set.  During the blizzard last week, we were able to build all his sets and he even built parts of it on his own.  I love seeing him enjoy his legos, and  I do admit that they were for me as well.

Tiger's Curse

I absolutely loved this book!  I have to admit I liked it a little better than Twilight!  I couldn't stop reading this book, it was excitement from the first few pages.  This didn't have any vampires in it, which is what I usually read, but of course it had some immortals.  I can't wait for the next book to come out, too bad it won't be until June!  I totally recommend this book, especially when you love books about falling in love!  I enjoy reading YA books becomes it always reminds me of how special it is when you fall in love for the first time.  It's something that you will never forget.  Not to sound sappy but it brings out feelings of how I fell in love with my husband.  It's nice to feel the excitement and butterflies again, and YA books always remind me of that.  Hope you"ll enjoy it as much as I do!

Birthday Cake

Just wanted to share some pictures of Kira blowing out her cake.  She was very happy about her cake. She couldn't stop looking at it, and my parents had to hide it in the garage because she kept opening the fridge to see it.  She had so much fun blowing out her candles.

Kira's Birthday Portraits

 Looking at these pictures you would think that she was the easiest baby to photograph....NOT!  We arrived at picture people and she was in a good mood and then when it came to her turn she threw a fit! She ran away and told the photographer that she is sad.  Thank goodness I had a photographer that was an absolute saint and was so patient with my Kira. She was suppose to have a outfit change but it didn't quite work out that way. She decided that she wanted to wear her wings and tutu, but sneaky mommy hide the tutu under her dress and we were ready to go!!!  Thank goodness we had some great pics, because the session didn't start out so well. Years from now when I look at these I will smile and remember how these pics came to be.

Things I'd like to do

There is so much that I would like to do. Now that I have finished school, and have all this free time.  (not really but more than I used to)  Anyways, I took up piano, which is something that I always wanted to do and I also wanted to take some photography classes.  I've been so inspired by Mindy & her pics that I want to learn how to take better pics.  So she recommended a site and I just got my first lesson today and took my first pic.  That first lesson taught me a lot and that's why I wanted to start this blog so I can share these practice pics with my family & friends.  So hopefully I can keep this up!
